Accellier is the provider of choice for thousands of people and hundreds of organisations in Australia and around the world. Under our former name SAVE Training, we built a solid foundation on which Accellier now stands, embodying almost 10 years of service to Australia’s Tertiary and Vocational Education Sector. As a testament to this, since our inception in 2010 we have spent only a few thousand dollars on advertising. Our clients are almost entirely referred from our happy graduates and business customers.

Accellier is the trading name of SAVE Training Pty Ltd and is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 32395) that offers a range of nationally recognised courses in education and business Australia wide through our online and face to face courses.

Blended learning courses are a great option for anyone who wants to accelerate their online learning. It’s the concept of blending the traditional face-to-face class-room learning model with the flexibility of online study.

Our learning experts have lovingly crafted a program that gets you the best of both worlds. For the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, we’ve identified the areas in the course that are sometimes more challenging to complete online, and put them into two four-day blocks of face-to-face learning. There are approximately twelve weeks in between the two four-day blocks which are a structured, easy-to-follow online learning program.

The initial four day block covers:

  • Delivery, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Enhancing training delivery with adult learning theories
  • Delivery of a 40-minute training session to the group (day 4)

 

You then commence a 12 week online learning course which focuses on:

  • Designing VET courses
  • Facilitating learning in the workplace with individuals
  • Facilitating group-based learning
  • Addressing adult language literacy and numeracy skills

The 12 week program is about practicing the skills from the initial course, and building on this with a more advanced understanding of how to facilitate effective learning in a range of settings for different learner groups. You will continue to work with your facilitator who will assist you all through this process.

Following this we come together again for the second four-day block which covers:

  • Planning and organising competency based assessment
  • Conducting competency based assessment
  • Designing and developing assessment tools
  • Assessment validation

Depending on progress between the two four day blocks some people may graduate at this point, others will have additional projects to work on and finalise. Occasionally we have particularly motivated and experienced individuals who complete before the second block.
