Marion is a highly successful visual artist and she recently graduated from Accellier’s TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment program to teach painting, drawing and ceramics. She is now employed as a Trainer and Assessor at RMIT in Melbourne.
We asked Marion if she’d like to tell her story and she teamed up with her sister and created this wonderful testimonial video (thank you Marion and Maggie!)
Marion’s journey through the course was much quicker than average. I’m so glad she has shared her story because I think it really shows how people with exceptional motivation and a great attitude toward the challenges of learning online can achieve so much. I think Marion’s enthusiasm and creativity had a lot to do with it too.
When asked about her achievement Marion told us that dedicating regular time for learning was a key factor in getting it done in such an efficient timeframe.
We’re all busy people and it’s easy to get stuck in the attitude of “I don’t have time.” If you want something, like the qualification to teach vocational education in Australia, you can prioritise and make time for it. Marion taught us all a great lesson about this.
