About

Accellier is the provider of choice for thousands of people and hundreds of organisations in Australia and around the world. Under our former name SAVE Training, we built a solid foundation on which Accellier now stands, embodying almost 10 years of service to Australia’s Tertiary and Vocational Education Sector. As a testament to this, since our inception in 2010 we have spent only a few thousand dollars on advertising. Our clients are almost entirely referred from our happy graduates and business customers.

Accellier is the trading name of SAVE Training Pty Ltd and is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 32395) that offers a range of nationally recognised courses in education and business Australia wide through our online and face to face courses.

Our mission is to enhance people’s value through excellence in service and learning outcomes.

Digital Literacy in Vocational Education

When: 12 November 2025, 12:00 pm NSW time (60 minutes)

Cost: Free Book Now

Join Kerri Buttery for an important and timely session on Digital Literacy in Vocational Education. This webinar has alignment with the revised RTO standards (particularly Standard 2.2) and explores:

  • Digital Literacy as a Core Skill
  • Assessing Digital Literacy prior to enrolment
  • Supporting Students with Digital Literacy needs

Kerri needs little introduction in VET but for those unfamiliar, Kerri is the founder of VETNexus and the Digital Literacy Licence. Kerri has worked in the Australian education sector for over 25 years. With a background as a Business and Technology teacher in Queensland schools, Kerri is passionate about the use of technology in education and how this can be used to engage learners and streamline the role of the educator. With postgraduate degrees in IT and eLearning, Kerri has been positioned as an early adopter of AI in education. Kerri has presented at numerous conferences on generative AI and written courses specifically for teachers on how to make use of this technology in the classroom and beyond.

Kerri was named on The Educator’s Top 50 Hot List in 2023 and achieved the Consumer Strength Champion Highly Commended award from Women in Technology. In 2024, Kerri and her team were recognised with two LearnX Diamond Awards for Best eLearning Project (Digital Literacy Licence), and Best Compliance Team (VETNexus) and are finalists in the Telstra Best of Business Awards in 2025.

Psychological Safety

When: 15 October 2025, 12:00 pm NSW time (60 minutes)

Cost: Free Book Now

A psychologically safe learning environment strengthens learning experiences and outcomes. But people often misunderstand psychological safety, thinking that it is simply about ‘being nice’ to learners – it is so much more than that!

Join Chemène Sinson for an online version of this interactive session that was rated as one of the top 3 presentations at Velg Training’s 2024 National VET Conference.

In the session, you will:
• clarify what psychological safety is (and what it is not)
• recognise why psychological is not just a ‘nice to have’ – it is an essential aspect of effective learning
• identify practical strategies to establish and maintain psychologically safe learning.

This session will focus on facilitators, but insights gained will help educational leaders, instructional designers, support staff and anyone else working in a training and education environment.

About our VET PD Program

The Standards for RTOs suggest that trainers at Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) or TAFE should engage in regular professional development in vocational training and learning.

the RTO’s training and assessment is delivered only by persons who have […] current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs their training and assessment. The Standards for RTOs

Like renewing annual insurance or a visit to the dentist, VET professional development is one of those things that trainers often put off. And no wonder, some of it is dreadfully dull and provides little in the way of usable strategies trainers can apply in their practice.

Get up to date with your VET PD the Accellier way

Strangely, most PD opportunities are provided by non-RTOs. We think RTOs need to demonstrate leadership in professional development. Accellier, a leading TAE provider, is extremely well resourced with an incredible team of skilled professionals who are keen to share their latest research, practices and findings from experiments with you.

All participants who fully attend and participate in the professional development sessions gain a PDF Certificate of Attendance.
