As described in this article, it may be possible to teach at a TAFE or RTO (under supervision) while you work towards your TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. As part of our course you can complete the TAESS00028 Work Skill Instructor Skill Set first, along with the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. The TAESS00028 Skill Set counts as 2 units of credit toward the 12 required for the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
We will get you to do this skill set first, issue you the TAESS00028 Skill Set as a digital copy, then you will be eligible to teach under supervision at an RTO, while you complete the rest of your Cert IV.
We will also provide you with (on request) an official enrolment confirmation letter to give to your employer confirming that you’re working towards your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
A high quality physical Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be awarded and mailed to you upon successful completion of that program (along with a scanned copy so you can get it to your new employer sooner!)
