About

Accellier is the provider of choice for thousands of people and hundreds of organisations in Australia and around the world. Under our former name SAVE Training, we built a solid foundation on which Accellier now stands, embodying almost 10 years of service to Australia’s Tertiary and Vocational Education Sector. As a testament to this, since our inception in 2010 we have spent only a few thousand dollars on advertising. Our clients are almost entirely referred from our happy graduates and business customers.

Accellier is the trading name of SAVE Training Pty Ltd and is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 32395) that offers a range of nationally recognised courses in education and business Australia wide through our online and face to face courses.

Our mission is to enhance people’s value through excellence in service and learning outcomes.

Student Wellbeing: A Conversation with Dr. Robbie Lloyd

When: 30 April 2025, 12:00 pm NSW time (60 minutes)

Cost: Free Book Now

The new Standards for RTOs have requirements around student wellbeing.

I thought this would be a great time to invite Dr. Robbie Lloyd in for a conversation about this important topic.

The session will commence with a brief introduction to what the new Standards require in relation to Student Wellbeing and then we’ll get right into a conversation with Robbie about this topic, exploring questions like:

  • How can RTOs effectively identify the diverse wellbeing needs of their students?
  • What are some things educators can do to integrate wellbeing support into their teaching and assessment practice?
  • What role does leadership and governance play in creating a culture of wellbeing in an RTO?
  • How do we measure how we’re doing in supporting student wellbeing?

Dr Robbie LloydDr Robbie Lloyd has over 40 years experience in health and human services reform, education and training learner-centred alternatives, as well as specialising in promoting Difference and Diversity, Indigenous self-development, Disability empowerment, and person-centred and community-building Mental Health.

Vocational Teaching and Learning Strategies

When: 14 May 2025, 12:00 pm NSW time (60 minutes)

Cost: Free Book Now

This session brings together a range of Teaching and Learning Strategies that can be used by Vocational Education and Training (VET) teachers.

While aimed at providing a broad toolkit of options for newer VET teachers, it can be a helpful refresher for experienced practitioners too.

About our VET PD Program

The Standards for RTOs suggest that trainers at Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) or TAFE should engage in regular professional development in vocational training and learning.

the RTO’s training and assessment is delivered only by persons who have […] current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs their training and assessment. The Standards for RTOs

Like renewing annual insurance or a visit to the dentist, VET professional development is one of those things that trainers often put off. And no wonder, some of it is dreadfully dull and provides little in the way of usable strategies trainers can apply in their practice.

Get up to date with your VET PD the Accellier way

Strangely, most PD opportunities are provided by non-RTOs. We think RTOs need to demonstrate leadership in professional development. Accellier, a leading TAE provider, is extremely well resourced with an incredible team of skilled professionals who are keen to share their latest research, practices and findings from experiments with you.

Get a PDF Certificate of Attendance

All participants who fully attend and participate in the professional development sessions gain a PDF Certificate of Attendance.
