About

Accellier is the provider of choice for thousands of people and hundreds of organisations in Australia and around the world. Under our former name SAVE Training, we built a solid foundation on which Accellier now stands, embodying almost 10 years of service to Australia’s Tertiary and Vocational Education Sector. As a testament to this, since our inception in 2010 we have spent only a few thousand dollars on advertising. Our clients are almost entirely referred from our happy graduates and business customers.

Accellier is the trading name of SAVE Training Pty Ltd and is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 32395) that offers a range of nationally recognised courses in education and business Australia wide through our online and face to face courses.

Our mission is to enhance people’s value through excellence in service and learning outcomes.

What AI means for cognition, assessment and educational credibility

When: 10 September 2026, 12:00 pm NSW time (60 minutes)

Cost: Free Book Now

One of our most popular guest presenters Bianca Raby returns.

This webinar explores what AI means for learning, assessment and the credibility of VET qualifications. Bianca looks at the question: if AI can do more of the thinking for learners, how do we make sure genuine learning is still occurring?

The webinar is particularly timely following ASQA’s release of its five Principles for the Responsible Use of AI in VET in July 2026. The principles emphasise governance, human oversight, privacy and security, equity, and ensuring AI use does not undermine the development or demonstration of the skills and knowledge required by training products.

Drawing on learning science, cognitive psychology and assessment design, the session will examine why mental effort matters, how AI can both support and undermine learning, and how RTOs can design assessment that provides credible evidence of a learner’s own knowledge, judgement and capability.

Participants will leave with practical ideas for making learner thinking more visible, strengthening authentic assessment, and using AI as a learning partner rather than a substitute for cognitive effort.

About our VET PD Program

The Standards for RTOs require trainers at Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) including TAFE to engage in regular professional development in vocational training and learning.

An (RTO) demonstrates how it ensures all trainers and assessors undertake continuing professional development to maintain current skills and knowledge in training and assessment, including skills and knowledge relating to engaging and supporting VET students. The Standards for RTOs

VET professional development is one of those things that trainers in RTOs unfortunately often put off. And no wonder, some of it is dreadfully dull and provides little in the way of usable strategies trainers can apply in their practice.

Get up to date with your VET PD the Accellier way

Strangely, most PD opportunities are provided by non-RTOs. We think RTOs need to demonstrate leadership in professional development. Accellier, a leading TAE provider, is extremely well resourced with an incredible team of skilled professionals who are keen to share their latest research, practices and findings from experiments with you. We draw on our extensive network of professionals to bring you industry leading guest sessions throughout the year.

All participants who fully attend and participate in the professional development sessions gain a PDF Certificate of Attendance. These are issued within 1 week automatically.

Why do we do this?
