About

Accellier is the provider of choice for thousands of people and hundreds of organisations in Australia and around the world. Under our former name SAVE Training, we built a solid foundation on which Accellier now stands, embodying almost 10 years of service to Australia’s Tertiary and Vocational Education Sector. As a testament to this, since our inception in 2010 we have spent only a few thousand dollars on advertising. Our clients are almost entirely referred from our happy graduates and business customers.

Accellier is the trading name of SAVE Training Pty Ltd and is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 32395) that offers a range of nationally recognised courses in education and business Australia wide through our online and face to face courses.

Our mission is to enhance people’s value through excellence in service and learning outcomes.

Getting a ‘foot in the door’

Have you found a great opportunity for a teacher/trainer role only to realise the job requires a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification?

Many TAFE, community and private training colleges are seeking experienced industry professionals like you.

They have told us that they struggle to find trainers with strong industry experience. One of the factors that makes this challenging is the completion of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Many people would love the opportunity to teach and train at a TAFE or other Registered Training Organisation (RTO) – few careers can be as rewarding.

Rome wasn’t built in a day though. The same goes for the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This important qualification requires time and effort to complete. And if you’re currently working in industry, how do you find that time?

If only there was a way to start teaching, while you complete your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

As described in this article, it may be possible to teach at a TAFE or RTO (under supervision) while you work towards your TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. In order to find excellent industry professional trainers, like you, many providers are turning to this method. We want to help you do this.

Skill-set + Cert IV

As part of our course you can complete the TAESS00028 Work Skill Instructor Skill Set first, along with the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. The TAESS00028 Skill Set counts as 2 units of credit toward the 12 required for the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

We will get you to do this skill set first, issue you the TAESS00028 Skill Set as a digital copy, then you will be eligible to teach under supervision at an RTO, while you complete the rest of your Cert IV.

We will also provide you with (on request) an official enrolment confirmation letter to give to your employer confirming that you’re working towards your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

A high quality physical Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be awarded and mailed to you upon successful completion of that program (along with a scanned copy so you can get it to your new employer sooner!)

The TAESS00028 Work Skill Instructor Skill Set includes the following two units:

  • TAEDEL311 Provide work skill instruction
  • TAEPDD401 Work effectively in the VET sector
