About

Accellier is the provider of choice for thousands of people and hundreds of organisations in Australia and around the world. Under our former name SAVE Training, we built a solid foundation on which Accellier now stands, embodying almost 10 years of service to Australia’s Tertiary and Vocational Education Sector. As a testament to this, since our inception in 2010 we have spent only a few thousand dollars on advertising. Our clients are almost entirely referred from our happy graduates and business customers.

Accellier is the trading name of SAVE Training Pty Ltd and is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 32395) that offers a range of nationally recognised courses in education and business Australia wide through our online and face to face courses.

Our mission is to enhance people’s value through excellence in service and learning outcomes.

What happens when I enrol?

Over the years we’ve had people join us who started courses with other providers and never completed them due to lack of support. They often talk about how the sales-people were very forthcoming, calling and emailing frequently. Then once they enrolled? Silence.

Our clients tell us we’re quite the opposite.

We feel learning is a shared journey, we’re on that journey with you. It makes sense therefore to get to know you a bit more. That way we can ensure the experience fits with you. This is especially important because it means we can recognise relevant experience and help you fast track anything you’re already good at.

Once all the enrolment and admin stuff is sorted (usually within 1 working day) participants are welcome to make a start immediately. You will gain full access to the course materials and will be able to commence some activities.

You will get the opportunity to meet others doing the course through our regular workshops.

You will be encouraged to book an initial consultation with one of your course mentors and assessors. Some people get the hang of things pretty quickly and just tell us to leave them be and they will let us know if they need anything. Others like us to hold their hand a little in the beginning and guide them through the first few activities.

We’ll also encourage you to plan out your learning to ensure you get it done, along with the numerous other things you no doubt need to get done in life!

In any case, we’ll reach out to make sure you’re happy and on track with things.

What next?

Once you’re all settled into our online learning platform, you will establish a routine for completing learning and assessment.

Each course will have you applying your knowledge and skills in activities. Answering questions, completing quizzes, practice activities, projects.

‘Learning by doing’ is important. There are plenty of videos, live sessions and completed examples to help you understand the key concepts.

Just learning the theory is like stocking a construction site with supplies.

It’s not until you use that knowledge to solve challenges and complete tasks that you truly learn.

Our courses are broken down into smaller activities and tasks to allow you to learn in a low-stakes way before being assessed. Feedback is important here. When learning something new it’s important that your mentor guides you in the right direction. You do the work, but they support you and help you get it right, even if you make some mistakes along the way.

Our team puts a great deal of effort into feedback, often creating videos just for you, so that you understand more clearly what to do.

Is it flexible?

Yes. And this is important. Increasingly, we as adult learners with competing life and work priorities, require flexibility. In fact, many of us would be unable to complete study at all without the flexibility to fit in our learning with other commitments. As lifelong adult learners ourselves, we get this. And we will give you the flexibility you need. This includes:

  • Ability to book 1-on-1 support sessions with your mentor and assessor
  • Ability to move through the course at your own pace
  • Ability to utilise relevant work activities for your assignment work
  • A range of convenient appointment and support times
  • Ability to move on to other parts of the course while you’re waiting on opportunities to complete certain assignments.

Can I get help?

Yes. We prioritise support above all else because we know that without this vital service, some people may not be able to complete. These 5 points sum up our attitude toward supporting our learners:

  1. Respond to support requests as quickly as possible so as not to unnecessarily hold up someone’s progress
  2. If it can be more effectively conveyed by video, arrange for a video-call or create an explainer video
  3. Provide multiple ways to get help including email/messaging, phone, 1-on-1 video call
  4. Be kind, positive and supportive – there’s no stupid questions
  5. Don’t give the answers but help each person find their own understanding.

How long does it take to get my certificate?

Cert IV TAE graduate holding a Certificate
Once you successfully complete all required assessments, things move very quickly.

We prepare certificates twice a week. They are lovely, premium quality, thick parchments with silver foil and embossing. This will go out in the mail usually the same week you graduate.

Many people we know are eager to get confirmation of their completion for employment purposes. So we will send you a scanned copy before dropping it into the mail to you.

What do other students think about learning with Accellier?

Accellier Graduate Review Video
We have compiled some graduate reviews here, and you can always do a Google search for Accellier Education which will show more than 90 reviews from happy graduates.

Here is a video that one of our graduates Marion made for us about her experience.

Is there any follow up service after I graduate?

All students and graduates can take advantage of our complimentary ongoing Professional Development program and community of practice. We run sessions most months on topics relevant Vocational Education and Training (VET). All participants will gain a digital certificate of attendance.

This is particularly helpful for graduates of our TAE programs. Often a requirement of employment of a VET/RTO/TAFE Teacher is ongoing professional development. You get it for free with Accellier.

Ask all the questions you need.

Most people have questions about their own unique circumstances before joining one of our programs. Please ask any questions or let us know if you have any concerns:

  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
  • Is it okay if we send occasional relevant and useful emails?
